North Mecklenburg H.E.L.P.

North Mecklenburg H.E.L.P., led by a Sponsoring Committee, is a multi-town organization of diverse religious institutions and neighborhood groups from Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville.  The organization is driven by the belief that these institutions and groups are the cornerstones of a vibrant democratic society and, as such, have a vital role to play in the decision-making process regarding public policy and action.  We are an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization under the direction of a team of leaders from our participating institutions, served by a professional organizing staff.  H.E.L.P. is affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation (I.A.F.), the oldest and largest network of broad-based organizations in the country.  We seek to partner with businesses and our political leaders, as decisions are made and actions are undertaken which affect our communities.
